Beginning Vegetable Gardening Series

You are invited to the Beginner Vegetable Gardening Series presented by the Comal Master Gardeners. This is a five-week course that covers all aspects of starting a garden and more. This series will give you the knowledge you need to grow a successful starter garden plus expansion ideas such as rain catchment, producing compost, and setting up a watering system. You will learn the best practices for planting and plant care. There will be hands-on training on propagating plants, how to assemble garden irrigation parts and more. And finally learn what to do about pesky plant pests.

The cost of the series is $35. As part of the class handbook is included with information on each of the topics. Please join us each Saturday in January and the first Saturday in February, from 8:30 to noon, as we take you through the components of home gardening.
